Proxy Seller

In this review, we take a detailed look at what Proxy-Seller is and which proxies it offers, and we walk you through how to use the service, how to buy and set up proxies, and the other details you should know. By the way, Proxy-Seller recently redesigned its website, so everything in this review is shown on the new design.

Proxy-Seller is a proxy provider that can rightfully be called a benchmark in the proxy market. High-quality proxies, affordable prices, a transparent pricing structure, volume discounts, excellent customer support, a wide choice of proxy types and a simple, user-friendly interface — all of this makes Proxy-Seller one of the industry leaders.

The company has Ukrainian roots, is registered in Cyprus and was founded back in 2014. Today Proxy-Seller has more than 140 employees around the world, as confirmed by its LinkedIn page.

Registration

Getting started with Proxy-Seller means creating an account on their website. In the new design, the sign-up button is a little hidden, so to register, go to the website and first click "Log in", as shown in the screenshot below.

Then click "Registration", as shown in the screenshot below, and the sign-up form will open in the same window.

Fill in the registration form or use the social login buttons for a quicker sign-up. Overall, there is nothing complicated here, and once you have registered, you are already halfway to buying proxies.

After registration, you are taken straight to your dashboard, which is already set up and ready for your first proxy purchase. One thing to keep in mind: double-check that you entered the correct email address when signing up. Proxy-Seller does not ask you to confirm your email, so if you made a mistake, a small typo could cost you access to your account later on.

Choosing a proxy type

Choosing the right proxy is quite an important step, because different proxies suit different purposes, and you want to get it right before you pay. Proxy-Seller does not sell just one type of proxy: when you visit their website, you will see that they offer 5 proxy types, which is essentially every type of proxy available on the market today.

Simply put, Proxy-Seller offers a wide variety of proxies, and you will find proxies for absolutely any task. If you are new to proxies and buying them for the first time, here is a table that will quickly answer the question of which type to choose:

Keep in mind that this table is not a universal standard, just an example to help you understand the proxy types better. In reality, everything depends on your specific case: how well the target website is protected, what you are trying to achieve and at what volume.

For example, we have seen plenty of guides and video reviews that recommend datacenter proxies for multi-accounting or web scraping. We don't agree with that approach, since datacenter proxies are easy to detect. That said, some people find they work well for their goals on specific websites, and they are attractive because they are cheap.

As you can see, there is no one-size-fits-all solution, but the table will help you get a rough idea of which proxy type to go for if you have no experience with proxies yet. You can also always contact Proxy-Seller support: they will help you pick the right proxies for your tasks, and the people working there are true professionals.

Proxy pricing

Price is one of the main factors when choosing a proxy provider. And to be honest, Proxy-Seller's prices are genuinely good and well balanced. On top of that, they offer generous volume discounts. Let's look at the price of each proxy type separately.

Datacenter proxies (IPv4/IPv6 proxies)

Datacenter IPv4 proxies at Proxy-Seller cost from $0.90 to $3.30 per IP, depending on three factors:

1. IP address country
2. Rental period
3. Order volume

They also have a handy price calculator that lets you quickly work out the cost of proxies based on your needs.

For example, 500 US IPv4 proxies for 1 month will cost $585 ($1.17/IP), while IPv6 proxies with the same parameters will cost just $40 ($0.08/IP).

Is that expensive? No, these are great prices for datacenter proxies, given the quality and the level of Proxy-Seller's customer support. By the way, with the promo code QALCDK_843602 you get an extra 10% off your order.

ISP proxies

These proxies cost a bit more than datacenter proxies, but they have one key feature: the IP address belongs to a residential internet service provider, so you look like a regular user, unlike with datacenter proxies.

ISP proxies cost from $1.89 to $3.5 per IP, and, just like datacenter proxies, the price depends on three factors:

1. IP address country
2. Rental period
3. Order volume

ISP proxies are also known as static residential proxies. In other words, when you buy an ISP proxy, you get a static IP address of the kind normally assigned to a real home internet subscriber, which is why it is called a static residential proxy.

If you look at the screenshot above, 500 US ISP proxies for one month will cost $1125 ($2.25/IP). That makes them roughly twice as expensive as datacenter proxies, and they come in handy in cases where datacenter proxies can't get the job done.

Rotating residential proxies

The price of rotating residential proxies depends not on the number of IPs, as with static proxies, but on the traffic you use, measured in gigabytes. The reason is that rotating proxies give you access to a pool of up to tens of millions of IP addresses worldwide with flexible targeting options, so you get huge capabilities but pay for the traffic you consume.

Residential proxies at Proxy-Seller cost from $3.5/GB down to $1.45/GB, depending on the volume you buy. It is also important to understand that you buy traffic for a 30-day period, so if you don't use it within that time, it expires. That is why it is best to choose a plan based on how much traffic you actually need per month.

Mobile proxies

Mobile proxies are unique in their own way: they are static but can rotate, they are considered highly anonymous and they rarely get blocked.

As a proxy type, mobile proxies are fairly expensive in general, but compared with other providers, Proxy-Seller offers great prices and, most importantly, a large choice of countries.

Prices range from $20 to $160 per port and depend on the following factors:

• Dedicated or shared mobile proxies
• Mobile carrier country
• Choice of mobile carrier
• 4G or 5G network

To give you an idea, a US mobile proxy on the T-Mobile network costs $65 per port per month with 4G coverage, while 5G will already cost you $180 per month. The price range is very wide and also depends heavily on the proxy country.

Yes, mobile proxies may seem very expensive, but for some tasks they are irreplaceable and the only optimal choice. For example, media buyers in traffic arbitrage use nothing but mobile proxies, because other types simply don't work for them, and these proxies pay for themselves 100%.

How to buy proxies (step-by-step guide)

Once you have decided on the proxy type and the amount you need, you can move on to buying. The purchase process differs slightly depending on the proxy type, but overall it is similar everywhere. Let's go through it step by step.

Static IPv4, IPv6 and ISP proxies

Go to your dashboard, click the icon shown in the screenshot below and select the proxy type you are interested in.

You may also notice proxy types called "IPv4 Mix" and "ISP Mix". These are the same proxy types, except that the country is assigned randomly within the selected region. They are a great option when the proxy country doesn't matter to you, because these mixes cost a little less than proxies where you pick the country yourself.

Once you have selected the proxy type you need, a page will open where you should click "Buy proxy", as shown in the screenshot below.

An order panel will then open on the right. For static proxies (IPv4/IPv6/ISP), you will need to specify the following:

• Proxy country
• Purpose of use
• Rental period (minimum 7 days, maximum 12 months)
• Quantity
• Authentication method. Most people choose login/password, which is the default, but you can also set up IP authentication by adding your IP to the whitelist
• Payment method

Don't forget to use the promo code QALCDK_843602, which gives you 10% off your order. An example setup is shown in the screenshot below.

You may also notice a checkbox called "100% uptime". It means that if the assigned IP address stops working for technical reasons, another IP address may be assigned to you automatically. It is a useful feature, but keep in mind that it may actually work against you if you need your IP address to stay static and never change.

Rotating residential proxies

When buying residential proxies, the only thing you need to choose is the amount of traffic. This is because they are rotating proxies, and all other settings are configured after purchase in the residential proxy generator. So there is nothing to worry about here, but remember that the traffic you buy is valid for one month, after which any unused traffic expires!

By the way, they used to offer a $1.99 trial for rotating residential proxies, but that option is no longer available. You can still buy the smallest plan for $3.50 to test the quality of their residential proxies.

Mobile proxies

Buying mobile proxies is also a little different, but overall it is similar to buying static proxies. Here are the main options you choose during checkout:

• Dedicated or shared mobile proxies. This determines whether you will be the only one using the mobile proxies or whether other customers can use the same proxies alongside you. The advantage of shared proxies is that they are much cheaper, but other customers can use them at the same time as you (usually 2-3 people). In addition, shared mobile proxies do not let you change the IP address on demand via a link; they only rotate automatically on a timer, which, for example, doesn't suit media buyers.
• Mobile proxy country
• Mobile carrier
• Rental period
• Number of proxies (ports)
• Rotation by link or by timer. With timer rotation, the IP address changes automatically, for example every 5 minutes. Link rotation means the IP address changes only when you open a special link, which becomes available to you after you buy the mobile proxies.
• Authentication method: login/password or adding your IP to the whitelist
• Payment method

And don't forget about the promo code QALCDK_843602, which gets you 10% off.

Setting up proxies

IPv4, IPv6, ISP or mobile proxies

If you buy static IPv4, IPv6, ISP proxies or mobile proxies, you receive ready-to-use proxy credentials right after purchase, and the proxies work straight away with no extra setup required. You can see what this looks like in the screenshot below.

You may be wondering which details you need to connect to the proxy. It's simple, you need the following:

• IP/Host (Login)
• Password
• Port

To find them, click the value in the "Auth" column (in our case it is "hello0x4tg"), and a window with detailed proxy information will open.

As you can see in the screenshot, you get two ports to choose from right away: HTTPS (50100) and SOCKS5 (50101). Pick whichever one you need.

Overall, Proxy-Seller makes it easy to copy your proxy details for further use: you can do it for a single proxy or export all your proxies as a list. You can also enable auto-renewal and add a note to a proxy as a tag or a comment.

You can check whether your proxies are working with our proxy checker checker.caproxy.com.

Rotating residential proxies

Unlike static proxies, where you choose all the settings at the time of purchase, rotating residential proxies are configured after you buy them. It's not difficult, and Proxy-Seller has an excellent guide on this.

Click the icon in the top right corner of your dashboard, as shown in the screenshot below.

Then click "Residential proxies" and then "Managing your proxies". This opens a set of subsections where you can learn about all the residential proxy settings in detail.

Country coverage

The list of countries depends on the proxy type, and here is the exact coverage for static proxies:

• Datacenter IPv4 proxies – 41 countries
• Datacenter IPv6 proxies – 17 countries
• ISP proxies – 24 countries
• Mobile proxies – 21 countries

To be honest, Proxy-Seller has some of the widest country coverage for every proxy type. Not every proxy provider can boast numbers like these.

Customer support and user reviews

Customer support is available 24/7, and you can contact them with any question in the following ways:

• Live chat on the website
• Email at support@proxy-seller.com
• Message via Facebook
• Message on Telegram
• Via Microsoft Teams

Support replies quickly and can solve almost any problem. Reviews of Proxy-Seller are mostly positive, both on our site and on Trustpilot and G2, and when negative reviews do appear, Proxy-Seller responds quickly and constructively and tries to resolve the issue.

Conclusion

Proxy-Seller is one of the best providers offering every type of proxy at reasonable prices. The company has been on the proxy market for a long time and has earned the trust of hundreds of thousands of customers. If reliability, transparent terms and a great balance of price and quality matter to you, Proxy-Seller is an excellent choice.

What is Proxy-Seller good for? Pretty much anything, because the use case is defined by the proxy type, and every proxy type is available here. That makes Proxy-Seller suitable for any scenario; the key is to choose the right proxy type for your specific case.

The one thing we would like to point out is that pay-as-you-go traffic for rotating residential proxies does not stay on your balance indefinitely: unused gigabytes expire once the month is over. Keep this in mind if you only need a very small amount of traffic on an irregular basis.

And remember that you can always reach out to Proxy-Seller support if you run into any difficulties. They also have very convenient documentation and a help section with guides, which makes working with the service much easier.
