The cheapest rotating residential proxies we could confirm cost $0.46 per GB: the 1 TB package at Zooproxy. At 100 GB the lowest price is Evomi, $0.49 per GB on its $49 monthly Core plan. For 10 GB, Geonode is cheapest at $0.79 per GB on a monthly plan, while Zooproxy and DataImpulse charge $1 per GB without a subscription. Prices checked on each provider's own pricing page on October 11, 2026.
For scale: across the 71 providers in our catalog that sell rotating residential proxies by the gigabyte, the median price is $3.00 per GB at 10 GB, $2.21 at 100 GB and $1.99 at 1 TB. At 100 GB the seven providers below charge between a fifth and a half of that.

Prices are per GB. Evomi's pay-as-you-go starts at 15 GB, and its 100 GB and 1 TB prices are on the monthly plan ($0.79 per GB pay-as-you-go at 1 TB). Proxy001's smallest regular package is 20 GB, Thordata's closest one to 100 GB is 150 GB, and Proxidize starts with a 25 GB plan.

Each price is the per-GB rate of the plan or package you would actually buy for that volume, not the headline "from" price on the provider's homepage. That difference is the main trap in this market. More on it below.
Which one to buy for your volume
Up to 10 GB a month
If you use the same amount every month, Geonode is cheapest: $7.92 for 10 GB, and unused gigabytes roll over while the subscription is active.
If your use is irregular, buy traffic that does not expire. DataImpulse charges $1 per GB and keeps unused gigabytes on your balance indefinitely. Proxy001 does the same at $1.20 per GB on its 20 GB package.
Around 100 GB a month
Evomi's Core Residential plan costs $49 for 100 GB, the lowest per-GB price we found at this volume. Geonode's 100 GB plan is $64.80. Both are subscriptions, so check that you really use 100 GB every month.
If you would rather buy once, Zooproxy's 100 GB package costs $70, which is $0.70 per GB.
1 TB and more
Zooproxy is the cheapest at $0.46 per GB, or $460 for 1 TB. Evomi stays at $0.49 per GB on its plan and Geonode charges $500. Proxy001 asks $650, Thordata $730, DataImpulse $800 and Proxidize $1,000 for the same terabyte.
At the catalog median of $1.99 per GB, a terabyte costs $1,990. Any of these seven saves between $990 and $1,530 a month at that volume.
Is the cheapest residential proxy worse?
Not in our tests. We test rotating residential proxies ourselves every 7 days: up to 200 requests through each provider, with the success rate, the response time, a check of every exit IP against public blocklists and visits to two real websites. Two of the seven providers here are in that test. Results from October 2026:

Both delivered nearly every request, and 0% of their exit IPs were on public blocklists. Thordata opened Zillow and Reddit on all 8 tries, Evomi opened Zillow 7 times of 8 and Reddit every time. So a low price per GB did not turn into a high price per successful request through retries.
The real difference is speed. Evomi answered in under 0.8 seconds at the median, Thordata in 1.8 seconds. For a scraper running many threads in parallel, that matters less than price. For anything a person waits on, it matters more. The full numbers for every provider we test are in our proxy benchmark.
Where cheap residential proxies hide the real price
The headline price is the biggest package. Geonode advertises residential proxies "from $0.27/GB". That is its 100 TB plan at $27,000 a month. At 10 GB the same provider charges $0.79. Zooproxy's "from $0.38/GB" is its 10 TB package, and Thordata's "from $0.65/GB" is 5 TB.
Introductory prices work once. Proxy001's 5 GB for $6 is a first-recharge offer. DataImpulse's $5 for 5 GB is for new users. Your next purchase follows the regular price ladder.
Monthly plans renew. Evomi's $0.49, Geonode's prices and Proxidize's plans are subscriptions that renew until you cancel. Evomi's pay-as-you-go traffic never expires but costs $0.99 per GB from 15 GB, or $0.79 from 1,000 GB.
The cheap pool is often a separate product. Evomi's $0.49 applies to Core Residential. Its Premium Residential pool costs $3.98 per GB pay-as-you-go. Check which pool the price on the order page belongs to before you pay.
Some providers verify your identity first. Proxidize enables residential proxies only after you pay for a plan and pass KYC. Budget the time for it if you need proxies today.
Refunds have limits. Evomi gives 30 days for a no-questions refund, "capped at 10% of your data allowance or 1 GB, whichever is smaller". Proxidize refunds within 30 days if you used no more than 10 GB. DataImpulse has a 7-day refund policy. Test early, while a refund is still possible.
How to test before you pay
Evomi starts every product on a free trial. It continues at the plan price unless you cancel inside the trial window, so set a reminder. Geonode offers a $5 trial with 10 GB for 3 days on its plans up to 500 GB. Thordata advertises a free trial for new users.
Elsewhere the entry packages are cheap: 1 GB for $2.40 at Zooproxy, 5 GB for $5 at DataImpulse, 5 GB for $6 at Proxy001 on the first top-up.
