Who PSB-Proxy fits and who should skip it

PSB-Proxy fits the buyer who needs rotating residential traffic in small or uneven amounts. You can buy a single gigabyte, the traffic doesn't expire, and the price per gigabyte is already low at the first step. If your scraper runs one week a month, that matters more than a deep discount you never reach.

It also fits you if part of your workload doesn't need residential addresses at all. The same account sells a rotating datacenter IP pool at half the residential price, so you can split your jobs by how hostile the target is.

The common advice is to send everything through residential proxies to be safe. We disagree. A price tracker pointed at a site with no serious anti-bot protection gets the same pages through datacenter addresses, and routing it through residential IPs doubles your bill for no gain. Keep residential traffic for targets that check where an address comes from.

Skip PSB-Proxy if you burn hundreds of gigabytes a month and only the floor price matters to you. At that scale the discount here is moderate, and Thordata undercuts it. Skip it too if you need PayPal or a local payment method.

What it costs in practice

The entry price is $2/GB for a single gigabyte of rotating residential traffic, and there's no larger minimum. The first discount arrives at the 10-13 GB step. From there each bigger package takes a little more off, down to $1.20/GB at 1000 GB.

Put that into a monthly bill. 10 GB at $1.80/GB is $18, which covers a small price monitoring job. 100 GB at $1.60/GB is $160. That's the volume where you should start comparing offers, because each further step saves you less.

Mobile and datacenter traffic follow the same logic with their own price per gigabyte. Mobile costs more than residential at every step, datacenter costs half as much. They are different products for different targets, so don't read them as one starting price.

Static addresses work differently. An ISP address is $2 per IP a month and a dedicated datacenter address is $1, and neither gets cheaper in bulk. The country choice is short: ISP addresses are sold in 9 countries and dedicated datacenter addresses in 4.

What stands behind the price and what a test costs

A cheap gigabyte usually comes from a small IP pool. PSB-Proxy states 40M+ addresses. That's more than NodeMaven and Relayox, which both charge more, and well below Thordata and Proxyscrape.

Thordata is the awkward comparison for PSB-Proxy: a larger stated IP pool and a lower price from 100 GB up. Below that volume you give up nothing by choosing PSB-Proxy.

Look elsewhere if volume is your main cost. From 100 GB Thordata is cheaper per gigabyte.
